1. Problem with downloading the file or software

2. I am unable to add cards to the empty database that comes with the reader. It asks for a password if I try to open it directly.
Re ADD card, you don't need to open the file. The password is not opened to public. Please see http://avea.cc/card%20registration%20details.html for details of ADD card. Or see Time Attendance manual (V1.3) http://avea.cc/spec/time%20attendance.pdf page 18 & 19, Section 4.1 & 4.2 to grant authorization

3. How to add card if we cannot find the serial number for AVEA's ID cards?
Under warrenty (1 year) - Please email those card numbers and the purchase proof to store@avea.cc for re-producing a new add card serial number.
After warrenty - We will charge HK$7.8 for each card (minimum HK$100) for re-producing a new add card serial number. Please email those card numbers to store@avea.cc for re-production.
